The other title of Lowchen is little lion dog. Since they are small in size, people often call them toy dogs, but one thing to be sure of is that they are very cute. In 1973, this breed was the rarest one in the whole world. There are only 65 kinds of this offspring and so they were very exclusive. Today, However, they are a few more, but they are still rare.

Their body hair is long and dangling and they can be found in various beautiful colors.

They don’t shed and they possess a strong prevention against allergenic effects. There are featured with a small head and lovely round eyes that also comes in various colors. A male Lowchen’s height is around 30-35 cm, and its weight is around 6 kg. The common starting price of a Little Lion Dog is around $3.000.

I have had several favorites over the years. 2 Goldens, an aussie (but she did try to herd my brother’s kids at 1st), and several rescue dogs, mine I have now brought to Arlington Va from N.C. kill shelter. My family had up to 5 dogs here and there. I loved them all as y’all did. Life wouldn’t be the same without them!
