Canine parvovirus (CPV) is an extremely contagious viral disease that can infect dogs and puppies. This life-threatening illness comes in 2 forms, the intestinal form (which is more common) and the cardiac form (which affects the heart muscles of young puppies).
The most dangerous thing about CPV is that it can be easily transmitted by any animal, human, or object that comes in contact with infected canine feces. Furthermore, dogs and puppies that aren’t vaccinated are at a high risk of contracting parvovirus.
Preventing this disease could save your dog or puppy’s life!
