1. Do Some Cardio Together!

If you thought the term “cardio” was only directed to humans, then think again. Cardio is any type of exercise that gets your heart beating faster while you move and sweat a lot! Why is it healthy? It doesn’t only make your heart and lungs more durable, but also make your body work better and prevent future diseases like diabetes or heart attacks. Cardio exercises can also help with weight and fat loss. And since you’re not leaving the house, both you and your dog will put on some weight, so why not try doing a little bit of cardio? The best activities for dogs, in this case, would be playing fetch, for example. You can do this in a hallway or on some stairs. You can even try to work out while you play fetch with your dog! Instead of waiting for your dog to give you the ball, do some pushups or squats, see how many you can do until your dog comes running to you, then throw it again and try to see how many reps you can do in that short amount of time!
