2. Try Making A Snuffle Mat

If you don’t know what a snuffle mat is, think about those feeder/toys which are normally used to keep dog treats, what is the objective? That’s right, to make the dog work for the food he wants. If you’re into DIYs and dog games, making a snuggle mat could be a great way to entertain yourself for a while, and later, entertain your dog as well! You’ll need: -A rubber mat with some holes -A little bit of fleece (depends on the size of the mat) You start by cutting the fleece into strips, about 1 inch wide and 6 or 7 inches long. Then, thread a strip of fleece through one of the mat holes and then back through the hole next to it and tie a simple knot. You should continue doing this for every row until you have some type of fluffy mat. Keep in mind that the knots and the ends of the fleece are all on one side of the mat. Then, on the fluffy, big side, spread some puppy treats or even some small dog toys. Your dog won’t see them immediately, but he’ll smell the treats, then, it’s his job to find the treats and eat them, it will take him a while though!
