Start feeding your pet inside the kennel every day for a few weeks, and they will start believing that it’s a safe, comfortable place. Don’t forget to make it extremely comfortable in there, and add a few toys. 

5. Don’t consider a sedative

Many people flying with a pet tend to give their dogs a sedative to help them sleep all the time they are flying. But it’s a big no-no because they may interfere with their ability to control body heat when they’re at high altitude. If you are worried about your dog getting anxious during the flight, consider calming him with treats, calming drops, or CBD oil. However, make sure to check regulations not to fall into any issue when flying with CBD oil.
