3. Keep Your Puppy Dry
Like humans, dogs shouldn’t stay wet during the cold season, which might pose a danger to their health. Always dry your dog after a walk, and make sure to keep them inside, away from any cold breezes and such. If possible, allow them to stay close to your indoor heater or provide them with a comfy dog blanket.
4. Make Sure They Keep Moving Even When They Are Indoors
If your dog doesn’t enjoy the cold weather that much, don’t force them out unless it’s really necessary. Instead, create a safe and playful environment inside your house so they can still use up all of their energy and get the physical exercise they need. Keep a few toys so they can play indoors and try to engage in activities with them. Playing with your puppy and spending a good time with them is a great way to keep them active while also bonding.
