There are two very famous varieties of this spice: Cassia and Ceylon. Ceylon cinnamon can be quite hard to find, and it’s also more expensive.
However, it’s the best option for your dog.
Cassia cinnamon is the common version you usually find at your typical grocery store. However, because this variety contains coumarin, you can only feed it to your puppy in small amounts, and you can’t do it for long periods.
