1. Yelling At Them Without Being Constructive
You can’t just start screaming whenever your dog does something wrong and expect them to understand what you want from them. If you are just learning how to tame bad behavior in dogs, just know that non-constructive yelling has no positive impact.
Dogs can absorb accommodate specific information, but you need to be the one to provide them that information, and in order to do so, your dog behavior training needs to be substantial. For example, if you don’t want your dog on the couch you can’t simply yell “NO.” You need to use words like “get off” so they understand that as a specific command.
