3. Wounds that aren’t healing
Is that small wound on your dog taking way too long to heal? That means you need to take your dog to the vet ASAP to see if it’s cancer or another problematic health issue. Non-healing wounds can include red or irritated lesions that hint at mast cell tumors, which is common in dogs (MCT). MTCs can spread from the skin to the bone and other organs in your dog’s body if not diagnosed and treated early.
