2. Clean your house regularly
For anyone who suffers from allergies, having a clean house is the main way to avoid severe reactions. For dogs, it’s the same. From dog toys to their beds, a lot of allergens tend to accumulate on these surfaces provoking skin allergy that can present itself in the form of rashes or itchiness. At least once a week, you should make an effort to wash your dog’s bed in hot water to remove any dust or bacteria. Tip: Keep your dog’s health in check by purchasing a foam bed since they don’t absorb dust mites as commonly as other beds.
