Here are 8 of the most common types of tumors in dogs and how to treat each one of them.
#8 – Mast Cell Tumors
Mast cell tumors are a common type of canine tumors that are usually red and very itchy as well as they grow rapidly. The itching is caused by histamine, which is one of the substances linked to allergy symptoms.
Histamine can also promote the production of acid in the stomach, meaning that dogs with such tumors are also prone to developing gastrointestinal ulcers.
