#5 – Histiocytoma
These red and hairless tumors are more common in dog breeds like Chinese Shar-Peis, Boston Terriers, Boxers, Greyhounds, Scottish Terriers, and English Bulldogs. Histiocytoma develops via the immune system and mostly affects puppies aged up to 3 years old.
In most cases, the tumors are benign, don’t spread, and can go away naturally within up to 3 months. However, if the tumors are annoying to the dog, surgical removal may be necessary.
