#2 – Lymphoma
This type of cancer can affect any dog breed, causing swollen lymph nodes that may be accompanied by coughing, loss of appetite, and lethargy. The swelling can be easily spotted in the back of the dog’s knees, in front of the shoulders, and under the jaw.
An effective diagnosis can only be reached through a tissue biopsy and/or a fine needle aspirate followed by a staging test to locate these cells in the entire body.
