This one may be the hardest to notice since the normal color of healthy gums is very similar to pale pink, but not quite, so for this one, you’ll need to pay extra attention. Pale pink gums in dogs are often signs of acute blood loss or anemia, a condition where there’s a lack of healthy red blood cells in your dog’s system.
