4. Growths on Gums
If you see some strange growth in your dog’s gums, it could mean they have a tumor. Most people aren’t aware of this, but it’s very common for dogs to gain tumors on their gums. Sometimes there’s no reason to worry about it since it happens naturally, and they can grow and decrease on their own, but sometimes, these growths can be contagious or cancerous and may need medical care and surgery. In any case, abnormal gums are always a sign that you need to take your dog to the vet, especially if your dog is struggling to eat due to pain or discomfort.
