There are cases when the dog can be extra sensitive to the NSAIDs which can lead to dangerous side effects, even if the dog gave was correct. Also, the medications can be used with the presence of some health conditions like kidney disease, gastrointestinal or liver disease may increase the risk more.
#3 – Tylenol?
Tylenol (acetaminophen) doesn’t belong to the NSAID’s family, but it is also a very dangerous drug for dogs. To this day, no one is completely sure how it reduces fever and pain because it has no effect on inflammation. But if a dog ingested toxic amounts of it, it will damage the kidneys, destroy the liver cells, and more.
