5. Not giving cats enough litter boxes
Your cat probably needs more litter boxes than you think. Veterinarians recommend that you have a different litter box for each one of your cats, plus an additional one for emergencies.
Cats are very clean pets and they refuse to do their business in a soiled box.
They can even go as far as peeing on your couch if you don’t keep their litter box properly cleaned. And that’s something you definitely want to avoid, as once that bad cat behavior turns into a habit, it is extremely difficult to get them back on track.
