8. Limit stimulation exposure
Some dog breeds like Rottweilers or German Shepherds are super territorial. This means that noise, a dog walking by your house, or even a storm can be enough of a reason to cause your territorial dog to start barking non-stop. With these types of dogs, it’s always best to make some adjustments in your house. Closing the blinds and keeping windows closed, especially when you’re away or getting some fences, so your dog doesn’t see other dogs walking by. The sounds still may trigger your dog, but he won’t be able to see anything, which will be helpful.
