12. Use perfume
If nothing else seems to be working, or if there are some things that you can’t try, you can always use an appropriate spray to neutralize the odors. This is particularly useful to have around when you are expecting guests because it will disguise any lingering odor that might still be in the air. Be careful enough and choose a spray that is pet friendly.
