7. Change the air filters around your house
If you choose to air your home completely, use that time to change the air filters. If your air filters are dirty, chances are they are not working properly, and even though this doesn’t affect your pet odor situation directly, it will keep the air from flowing around your home. When removing the air filters, be careful, and avoid spreading dust around.
