6. Discuss your options
Vet visits can be expensive and involve a lot of extra costs. However, if you are on a tight budget, you can always discuss your options with your vet. If you don’t have enough money for medications, you can try and talk your way to get some free samples. And if your pet’s health issue is something that demands more than one appointment, you can even negotiate a payment plan. Being financially responsible is the best thing you can do both for you and your pet.
