8. Be prepared for pet-related expenses
In the same way you should put money aside for personal emergencies, you should do so for pets. Having a pet is cute and fun, but it’s also a big responsibility, and you need to be aware that there are a lot of different costs involved – a medical emergency can be one of them. Be sure to put some money aside every month and start a pet-emergency-fund.
