2. Using Proper Medication For Anxiety

You should only go through with medicating your dog if the vet himself advises it. Pet owners usually jump to conclusions when trying to diagnose their dog, most of the time, without even trying other options. Medication is not the best option, but for some dogs, it can be necessary. Anxiety in dogs is real, and it can make your dog pee himself on the way to the vet, shaking non-stop, or even bite or harm someone who tries to grab them. It’s only up to your vet to prescribe some anti-anxiety medication, so let them be the judge of that. If you suspect that your dog suffers from anxiety, talk to a professional first, and follow their instructions. If your dog takes medication, ask the vet if it’s ok to give him some dog treats with it, or even mix it with medication to make it easier and overall a better experience for your dog.
