3. Never use medication on your dog without consulting the vet
Again, human products aren’t dog products. Even if your dog has a little cut, don’t self-medicate him. You have to understand that your body and skin are completely different from your pet dog. Therefore, the products you use will never work the same on your dog. What you should do instead is consult with your vet, the person who has experience in the subject and can tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. They’ll most likely give you a prescription for a healthy dog antibiotic ointment and educate you on how to use them. After all, if your dog is already suffering, the last thing you want to do is make the situation worse!
