7. Don’t let your dog eat or play with ice
Dogs can suffer a lot from teeth problems, and ice can be at the root of it. We understand that you may feel the need to drop a few cubes of ice in your dog’s water, especially during summertime. After all, you’re just making sure your dog is drinking fresh and cold water. Or maybe you allow them to play with it to freshen up a little bit, inside out. The thing is, ice is a usual culprit when talking about dog teeth. Dog’s teeth can become easily broken and infected, leading to root canals or even tooth removal. Instead, opt by changing your dog’s water more often during the summer and feeding him with healthy dog food like carrots or cold fruit.
