3. Talk to them using a positive tone of voice
If you don’t really know how to show your dog you love them, let us tell you that you can actually use your words. Well, words alone won’t do it, but your dog can recognize positive feedback depending on the tone you use. A positive intonation will stimulate the reward center of their puppy brain. Telling your dog that they are such a good boy/girl can work as well as offering them a treat! Try reinforcing your dog’s good behavior by talking to them in a slightly high-pitched voice and you’ll see how excited they will get.
