1. Pet Adoption Fund – Canoga Park, CA
Created in 1983 in the city of Canoga Park, in Los Angeles County and the State of California, this is a non-profit organization that has rescued more than 10,000 dogs and cats. All the work is done by volunteers, and the only source of income is donations made by people from all over the world. There are a wide variety of dogs for adoption, from mongrels to dogs of breed like pitbull. Pets have a nutritious diet, walk every day, bathe, are shorn, and receive medical assistance.
