America only has a few native dog breeds, and the American Foxhound is one of them. The former United States President George Washington used to breed these dogs for hunting purposes, so they are highly energetic to this day. If you are going to adopt one of these cuties, be sure that you have plenty of space for them to run around. They tolerate the hot weather so that you will be all good in the Summer.
