4. Myasthenia Gravis
Dogs with Myasthenia Gravis is a disorder that affects the connection between muscles and nerves. This rare dog disease may develop due to the immune system that could attack this neuromuscular junction, but mostly, congenital disabilities, cancer, disorders of the thymus or the thyroid gland, and other conditions can be the ones to blame. Dogs affected by this condition show extreme weakness, excessive fatigue, voice changes, breathing difficulty, and cramping after mild exercise. Most cases are not inherited but acquired!
