5. Letting them be off-leash
Whenever you’re in public, it’s always a good idea to have your dog on a leash.
Yes, a happy dog is a free dog, but the thing is, dogs are unpredictable.
You might think you have the most obedient dog, but what’s going to stop them from chasing other dogs if they want to? Or run around and knock some kid on the ground? What if you lose sight of them? What if you find your dog peeing on someone’s property? Or not find them at all?
