7. Be aware during your night walks

Fall shortens up our available hours of sunlight, so chances are that by the time you get out of work, it’s already dark outside. However, your puppy will still need to be walked, and this is where the Autumn pet advice comes in handy. The absence of light makes it harder to care for your dog, and there are many pet hazards pet owners should be aware of. Whether it is something on the road that might hurt your dog or a dangerous roadside snack they decide to nibble on, it’s important that you carry a flashlight with you to monitor their moves.  Another pet safety tip: put a reflective collar on your puppy to make sure that they are visible to cars, other people, and even other animals.
