4. Be careful with mothballs
The cold is here, and you are fully ready to unpack your Autumn sweaters. And if you had them stored away, chances are that you kept some mothballs inside your drawers to prevent any damage carried out by moths. But while these balls are pretty useful, they are also pretty hazardous. They contain high amounts of paradichlorobenzene, naphthalene, and camphor, which are all highly toxic for dogs. If your puppy happens to ingest one of these mothballs, they may end up feeling lethargic, vomiting, or suffering from kidney or liver damage. Plus, they can represent a choking hazard. So keep your puppy in the next room whenever you decide to unpack your cold season clothes.
