4. Your Dog Is Licking Themselves A Lot
Grooming can be a pain reliever for dogs, so if you notice that they are licking themselves constantly, this can mean that they are trying to ease their pain or discomfort. They react by instinct, so if they are hurting somehow, the first thing they will do is lick the wound to treat it. If it’s a cut, you will have no trouble detecting it, but if what’s causing the pain is something internal, you should take them to the vet and find out, since it might be something serious.
