8. Their Body Has Changed
If your dog is suffering from a condition that causes inflammation, from any sort of infection or even from cancer, there is a chance their legs, paws, or face might become swollen. Also, their posture might change as they try to adapt to the pain – if they appear to be more rigid, or if they assume the so-called prayer position, this can be a sign they are experiencing abdominal pain, and they will do what they can to try to stretch that area and get some pain relief.
