5. Your Dog Is Panting
Panting is a natural thing, and it’s even more natural for dogs who suffer from breathing problems. But if your puppy has no respiratory issues and has not been exercising recently, and they are still panting heavily, that is a reason for concern. You should observe how they breathe because if their respiration appears to be shallower, that can mean they are having a hard time breathing, and that taking a breath has become painful, which is not normal for a healthy dog.
