Acute diarrhea is a punctual condition that can be caused by food indiscretion, and it is normal for this to happen because dogs take everything to the mouth if they are not trained to do so. But it can also be due to some episodes of stress, infection or sudden change in eating habits – alteration of the feed for example.

Chronic diarrhea in dogs is a more permanent condition that requires more recovery time for your four-legged friend. What causes chronic diarrhea in dogs are allergies, parasites that are everywhere, food intolerances, bacterial infections, stress, illness and even some cancers.
