1. Not thinking through about what type of dog you want
You might find huskies beautiful dogs, but if you live in a small studio, maybe the best choice for you would be a smaller dog who doesn’t require such a high activity level as huskies do. Besides that, you should never make your decision based on the dog breed. Again, a lot of people who care for breeds are the same people who care for designer brands. By the end of the season, they need new clothes, and probably a different dog. It would help if you got to know your dog first. Go to the nearest dog shelter and see if you bond with any dog there, you can also take them for walks and see how you two get along. It’s always important to form a connection with the dog you’re adopting to make the adoption process go smoothly.
