1. Research is key

Even if you’re very excited about getting a puppy, don’t click and buy. Do your research first! We know how easy it is to fall in love with a cute picture of a puppy and immediately wanting to buy them, but think about how many people out there use these “cute photos” to lure you in. Before buying anything, do some google search. Search the name of the company that is dvertising the pet. Try to search for the person’s name and “fraud” or “scam” right next to it. If you end up on a sketchy forum containing many people complaining about how they got scammed, then that’s a clear indication this person is not trustworthy. Another flawless hack you can try is to search up the image of the dog on google images. If the photo being used is real, you won’t see any other pages using that same photo. However, if it’s a fake photo, you’ll know immediately due to the number of websites and people associated with it.
