2. Make sure the pet comes with medical documentation

Many people trust the word of the seller and end up adopting or buying pets thinking they’re healthy, and a day or two after, they’re taking them to the vet and finding out all these health complications they didn’t even know existed. A trustworthy owner, breeder os institution will provide medical proof that the dog is healthy, vaccinated, and has a chip. If there are no records of the pet’s history, then that’s a red flag that shouldn’t be ignored. Always remember to ask about the veterinary clinic they were being followed at. If they give you a name, do your research. Is it real? If so, then call them and ask them if they have any records or not.
