4. Keep your dog away from water

Do you want to keep your dog warm at all times? Keep an eye on any indications of signs your dog is too cold, and keep your pet away from water bodies outside. Do you see that puddle of water that your dog wants to dip its paw in or that frozen pond that they seem to be curious about?

Don’t let your dog go near any of these! Always keep your dog in on its leash while outside as it can easily fall through the ice or get soaked in rainwater and then… you guessed it, hypothermia.
