1. Take your puppy to the groomer
If your dog is properly groomed throughout the cold season, they will be less likely to accumulate salt and snow between their hairy toes. The long hair will retain this debris for longer periods of time, which can cause further complications for your dog. To make sure they are as comfortable as possible, take them to the groomers and keep their fur at an appropriate length.
